Uncle John the Carpenter

Sally Mudd did not have a proper bed. This was unacceptable for my dad’s Uncle John. I was asked to spend a couple of days with Uncle John and his wife. While I was visiting them, he built a lovely little bed for my dolly. It had rails on the sides, slats on the bottom and four little wooden wheels. It was the perfect size for Sally Mudd. A little mattress and quilt added the final touches.

The little bed resides in our guestroom. It looks wonderful and the wheels still roll thanks to the fine carpentry of Uncle John.
